You can tour the thoroughbred horse farms, go to the Kentucky Horse Park and take a carriage ride, and visit historical homes like Henry Clay's and Mary Todd Lincoln's. The Horse Park has a big Christmas light display in December.

lmao, this is Ken-tuck, there's nothing exciting to do up there unless you're middle-aged or older :P, unless you want to take a trip to King's Island, which is far from where you're going, in Ohio. I'd recommend enjoying the nature there, to me, that's romantic enough. Go on a hike. Be original.

Romantic...Triangle Park in downtown will be decked out with lights for Christmas. Have dinner at DeSha's (right across from the park), walk around the park, maybe catch a horse drawn carriage and snuggle under the blanket. Things to do...not sure what your interests are... Lexington Cemetery, beautiful and the final resting place for Henry Clay, General John Hunt Morgan and other distinguished Kentuckians including over 500 Confederate and 1,100 Union veterans. There are many shops in the area. http://www.visitlex.com/attractions.html Joseph-Beth Bookstores. Huge selection and a cafe. Nice place to grab a coffee and read. Most places happily welcome kids, having kids eat free nights or some other kind of specials. So be warned if kids aren't your thing. There are so many choices...American, Chinese, Indian, Japanese/Sushi, Mexican, Thai, etc. Some of these require you venture out of downtown. Be warned Nicholasville Rd. is EVIL almost all day long in December. About Is there a website that can tell me the exact half-way point between two cities
Is there a website that can tell me the exact half-way point between two cities?
For example if you were travelling from Richmond, VA to Lexington, KY...I need a website that would tell you at what point along your journey you would be half-way? Thanks! half-way by driving time and to the nearest city/town.

well, go to mapquest or google maps and figure out how many miles are between them and divide that by 2.
2 :
The latest versions of Google Maps and others allow you to put additional route points on or after an established route by clicking on the map. The best I could suggest is clicking on a likely point near the route and seeing what the route says about distance. In Google Earth, you can use the ruler and pull a straightline distance, then divide that mentally in half and move the end marker to that distance. Among the problems are: Halfway by distance or by driving time? Nearest city or town or just a place on the highway?

About Travel question
Travel question?
You are traveling south from Bay City, MI to Lexingtong Kentucky via I-75. On your trip you drive through Cincinatti on I-75 You travel at an average rate of 70 mph. You travel non stop. It is 260 miles from Bay City to Cincinatti and another 90 miles from Cincinatti to Lexington. If you leave Bay City at 10 a.m., what time do you arrive in Lexington? 350 miles / 70 mph = 5 hours. 10 a.m. + 5 hours = 3 p.m. However 3 p.m. is incorrect. How is this so?

3 :
For one thing it is 431 miles from Bay City, Mi to Lexington, Ky assuming the legal speed limit is 70 mph it will take 6 1/4 hrs to make the trip. Another reason this is wrong is the legal speed limit for the duration of the trip is not 70 mph. There is no time zone difference on this route.

1.75 does not go through Cincinnati

I know to get the AirTrain to Jamaica Station and then the 6 train to 53rd Street - If I get off the subway at 53rd Street, can i transfer by escalator or do I have to go to the street and walk from there - I'm not being lazy, just want to know the easiest way to get there - never done this journey before and don't want to screw up! If I'm wrong, please let me know! Any

Best way with that: 1. Take Jamaica Train to Jamaica, which is 12 minute ride, then with Regular MetroCard put in $5 to exit Airtrain Station, then walk across walking escalator. 2. Follow sign to elevator to E/J/Z subway (which is below LIRR/Street Level.) 3. At MetroCard vending machine, you refill your card with $2 or buy Unlimited pass. 1-Day $7/$7.50 on March 2nd. If you have luggage, ask station agent that you want to use gate. 4. With your MetroCard handy, go to turnstile next to service gate where agent can see the turnstile. Without blocking the view, swipe at same turnstile until it shows GO. When it flash GO, rotate the turnstile arm completed without blocking view of agent, and after it rotated, agent will buzz emergency service gate open. 5. Take Manhattan-bound (E) express train. (Warning late night, (E) becomes local to replace (R) service in Queens) Stay on (E) train until you get to Lexington Av-53rd St. After you take elevator up to mezzaine, follow sign to (6), turn left and keep to right of barrier, and press button by emergency exit gate, and elevator take you outdoor to Lex Av & 52nd St on NE corner.

Well, 51st Street and Lexington Avenue is just two blocks south of the Lexington Avenue-53rd Street station you can walk from the subway to 51st Street.
